I have a craftsman 80" bandsaw with 12" wheels. One of the original tires broke on one wheel. The bandsaw doesn't work as well or run as quietly without the tires. This is a package that contains two bandsaw tires for 12" wheels. The tire material is urethane - a tough rubbery substance. it is a bright orange in color - like the picture.

I simply followed the directions and soaked my new tire in very warm soapy water; removed the wheel from my bandsaw; and slipped on the new tire with the help of two Philips screwdriver shafts and my foot holding the wheel down. It wan't that difficult. Then while the belt cooled down on the wheel I went around the wheel with my hands and made sure the tire was evenly tensioned and properly fitted into the grooves on the wheel. Then I replaced the wheel on the bandsaw and reinstalled the blade. It fits exactly like the original tire. The bandsaw runs quiet again now that the tire is replaced - And since this was a package of two and one tire was OK I now have a spare. I didn't even have to touch the tracking adjustment.

This seems like a good quality replacement bandsaw tire and is at a reaonable price for a pair.

I was going to give my dad's the old bandsaw away because these belts were loose after 40+ years but saw these so gave it a shot. Following the simple instructions they went on easy and now I have a working bandsaw! I saw the more expensive ones but these worked great and the supplier shipped them promptly. Great experience overall, thank you!

These are great. I used them on my vintage Craftsman 12 inch band saw. Very easy to install and no issues with them at all. My shop get's very cold in the winter and they are fine. No grinding or gluing required. Put them in soapy hot water and then stretch them over the wheels.

Had no issues putting this on my 12 inch Craftsman bandsaw. It was also much cheaper than some others advertised out there.

Work great, to install boil some water in a large pot ( I used a 12qt stock pot), then carefully carry boiling water out to band saw. Put the tires in the water for a few minutes and stretch on, it will take a little work. I used a bar clamp to keep the tire from slipping off the bottom of the wheel like a third hand, four hands would be ideal.
