This stuff works...plain and simple, and works well!

How to Remove dried dog urine from a carpet......

1. Purchase a strong ultraviolet light, not one of those battery operated weak lights you may find in your local home center.

2. Pour Urine Off into a professional plastic spray bottle.

3. Using your UV light, spray generously over the affected area and rub the solution into the carpet.

4. Lay wet towels (beach towels or bath towels) over the area for 24 hours.

5. After 24 hours remove the towels.

It's that simple. I thought I may have to rinse the carpet with water from my upright steam cleaner, but it was not necessary. I could not be happier with the results. The urine was gone and so was the odor.

This is the best product ever! (I have tried them all) This works wonders on new stains & is amazing on old set in stains. I was amazed at how much urine came to the surface of my carpet. It was disgusting, but not anymore! The smell even came out & my dog has stopped trying to re-mark the area. Thank you!!

I have tried a bunch of different enzyme type products. This is easily the best one I have used. Go ahead and spring for the battery powered sprayer when you order. It actually works great and saves your wrist and fingers.

I purchased Urine Off and would like to report that the product, although advertised to remove stains, does not remove stains. The label indicates that the product works on old stains. This is not true. Even after treating the stains multiple times, the stain remains. I used an ultraviolet light (as recommended by the label) to locate the stains and then treated them according to the product label instructions. The stains remain and do not pass the ultraviolet test. My purchase price was $28.20 through Amazon.com.

I have been using this product for about 2 years. I have several dogs of my own and also foster for my local shelter. Lots of little beasties coming and going, leaving me souvenirs. This is the best product I have found for removing urine stains and odors. You have to use it full strength and you have to fully saturate the stained area, which means I use a lot of this product. I first bought it from a local carpet store who said he saw a demonstration using tiger urine. This product totally neutralized that smell! I bought a quart and tried it, but given the size of my house and the number of animals I have I told him I would need it in a 55 gallon drum! Then I found it online where I could buy 4 gallons at a time and get free shipping and I have been ordering it now 2 or 3 times a year. This product really works! Get a black light to help you find all the spots...you will be shocked at how many there are you can't see with the naked eye! But the dogs know they are there!

and were equally satisfied with its highlighting of the places where the 'dirty deed' had been done.
Never wanting to be without having some on hand we ordered the 1 gallon size to keep that bottle refilled.
This is a must for those of us sharing our hearts, homes, rugs, and carpeting with furry 'Little Squirts'!

We adopted a shelter dog that had never been house trained. It took almost three months until he finally figured out that peeing on the carpet was not good doggy behavior. By that time, despite cleaning up accidents right away, there was a 5 x 5 area of carpet that was pretty stinky. We poured the UrineOff on full strength, and used a soft bristled scrub brush to work it in down to the pad. Used the whole bottle. Put some plastic over the area overnight and in the morning took up the plastic to let it dry. The smell is gone! My daughter says if she puts her nose right up to the carpet, she can still get a whiff of wee wee smell, so we'll have to treat again. But before treating, the whole room smelled. I don't think anything short of replacing our old carpet will get all the smell out, but it's a thousand times better.

I have tried several products, but Urine Off is the only one that does eliminate urine odor. It is not cheap, but it does work if you follow the instructions, particularly with difficult stains.

Urine Off works best if you treat the urine spot as soon as possible and thoroughly saturate the area. On my carpet, I had areas where my puppy urinated multiple times and I had tried to clean them with other products. One dose did not do. I had to completely saturate the area and cover it with plastic. After three days, I could smell urine throughout my house. I treated the area with boiling water and vacuumed with my carpet steam cleaner. Several days later, once the area had completely dried, the smell was gone. Instructions say the smell sometimes gets worse after treatment before it gets better, and that was the case.

It does seem to leave spots on the carpet darker. This has been the case for one of my carpets. If you have very valuable carpeting, which I don't, you may want to keep this in mind.

I bought this product -- 2 gallons! -- based on several reviews saying it worked wonders on stains, even older ones. Unfortunately, this stuff just doesn't work at all in removing stains. I tried various methods. The instructions say to spray the area and lay plastic over it for 24 hours, and to then blot it the next day. Didn't work. I tried spraying the areas and laying wet towels over them for 24 hours. Didn't work. I sprayed the area and scrubbed with a brush. Didn't work. I tried this on more than 6 different stained areas, none of which were reduced or removed with this product. Since I couldn't detect a residual odor before I tried this, I can't speak for how well it removes odors. But if you're trying to remove stains, spend your money elsewhere. (If you find an alternative product that works, please post it).
