a fine artist - and needed,

Iury (not Uriy) Shevchuk goes right to me with his singing, I like his voice and his tone and often as not the accompaniment. I've read a little about him on the internet, and I sense that he is a courageous man and more than needed in this world. The world could be a better place, Russia could be a better place. Shevchuk knows and dares open his mind and mouth. I wish I could attend one of these concerts. I wish I could get hold of more of his recordings. I wish I could see (read and gradually understand) the lyrics. Maybe it is there somewhere, but I haven't found it. I would like to learn Russian and get to know Russia from someone like Yury Shevchuk. Spasiba. |
