Product is as described and as expected. Good price. I measured out half the package, and will use the other 1/2 at a later date. This is the maintenance that you do to keep your machine running for a long time and out of the trash.

I have used it to descale an espresso machine, an electric tea kettle, and about any other water holding appliance that I have in my apartment right now. The water in my area has a ton of calcium, and in 15-20 minutes, this stuff leave no trace! Great price, too.

I had been descaling with other descalers for years from local stores. I got ahold of these and gave 'em a try and found that they actually work markedly better. I had descaled a tea-kettle several times and the element remained burned-looking and still had spots. I attributed it to age and thought nothing of it. I used this one and, suddenly, the coil was shiny chrome again and most of the spots had disappeared. Also, this was the first time a descaling actually resulted in visible flakes coming out with the dirty water (both in my espresso machine and my kettle). I will never try another brand.

Great product and cheaper than individual packages. Use 1/4 package for 1 quart of water (instructions say to use full package for 1 gallon).

Beware the acid in the solution will permanently tarnish mirror polished stainless steel surfaces such as spoons or the outside of a milk frothing pitcher! I suggest mixing the powder into warm water by using a plastic spoon and avoid using a polished stainless steel frothing pitcher when purging the solution from the espresso machine.

Works great for descaling an automatic expresso machine. Much cheaper than inividually packed one. I mixed 1/3 of the packet (about 2 oz) with 1 liter of filtered water for each use.
