I ordered my bass a few months ago and have played several shows with it. It's definitely not the best bass (needs plenty of EQing) but, for the price I'd say it is very much worth it.

It,s beautiful to look at and hold, but it lacks a good pick-up and I had to change the strings to Boomers. I would like to purchase the SX URSA 2 JR ASH MN NA bass short scale but it has been discontinued. If you find one for sale please let mt know by e-mail. See ya, Phil

I am not a fan of Chinese guitars, but there are exceptions. I own a Chinese Gretsch Corvette that is very nicely made for its price range, and the SX 4 JR is of similar quality, construction-wise. The action needed some adjustment, but the pickups are acceptable for the price. The one complaint I do have is that the nut seems a bit flimsy. Otherwise, I'd put it up against many other instruments in its class.
