This is a very fun book, and contains a lot of activities for children to do. There are a few that duplicate activities in their "365 Things to Make and Do", but not enough to be a big issue. The "science", however, is iffy on several of the activities - they basically took a neat craft and tried to figure out how science would apply. For example - the Sparkly Space Picture is a collage and glitter picture of a rocket. The science? "bouncing light" from the use of glitter. A little weak.
Mostly, though, this book has activities that make example of better science, and yet are still fun and engaging for kids. A lot of the ideas are fresh and unique, and as with all Usborne books I've seen, the design and layout of the book is fantastic.
