Great book for beginning riders,

I looked specifically for an Usborne book because we'd purchased ones on kitten, puppy and hamster care in the past and had found them to be informational without overload for the child. This was much bigger than those, and very informative. It's divided in sections of information so you can easily reference a section specifically. My 6 yr.old has just gotten her first horse and this is very helpful for care, riding, saddling, temperment and other horse information.
