The Usborne Guide for Knitters may be marketed for young adults, but I strongly recommend it for adults as well. The book covers the basics in knitting in a clear and concise fashion--moreover, there are wonderful, colorful illustrations of each technique. These illustrations really make the difference for visual learners like myself. If you'd like to learn how to knit using a well organized and informative book, the Usborne Guide to Knitting is for you. One final note: includes several patterns for you to get started on.
