4.0 out of 5 stars good song
good song, I've been listening to it over a year before I started to get tired of it but it's still a good song

3.0 out of 5 stars Kinda Useless
"Use Somebody" by the '70s-channeling Kings of Leon is a big alternative rock hit in Europe, but not so much here. Considering the Eurovision song contest, maybe European taste leaves much to be desired. "Use Somebody" is all about the desire for companionship, and as the title suggests, it's utilitarian. Using people objectifies them. "Use Somebody" makes for good...

This song is epic in lyrics, chorus/hook, and all around vibe. KOL have a sort of haunting lyrical edge that are reminiscent of My Morning Jacket and a compilation of other southern rock influential bands. In short, if this song does not strike a chord somewhere in your inner-being, I'm not sure what will.

4.0 out of 5 stars A song that I really don't mind hearing on the radio. B-, July 9, 2009

The echoes, the chorus, the verses that just build and the singer's voice - all great.
I'm not saying this song is timeless or anything but for a modern alternative rock song, Kings Of Leon got it right.

Bravo. Two thumbs high in the air!

4 stars = B-

I was currently sitting on a plane while deciding to listen to this song, No I don't listen to the previews cause I thought some other songs were rubbish while listening to the crappy 30 second preview, but now I regret that. So I buy them and listen to them, Use Somebody is great song, not great if you don't like Kings of Leon, but it's a good song.

1.29 for this one song??!?! Just buy the whole CD! It's well worth it! This CD was amazing and defiantly should have won the Grammy over coldplay's new album.
