Carol Garhart Mooney's book "Use Your Words" is a short and easy read; yet, is full of wonderful information on how to better communicate with young children. I recommend any adult who works with, has, or is lucky enough to spend time with impressionable youngsters to sit down with a cup of coffee and enlighten yourself. Your words maybe conveying confusion and frustration to the little ones in your world.

An excellent read for those of us who want to provide the children in our care with an environment that is rich in language arts. Every preschool teacher and day care worker should read this book!

I don't necessarily agree with all aspects of the book, but it did provide interesting thoughts and alternative ways to think about things. The stories that are included are pretty cute.

This book is for EVERYONE. Parents, teachers, and caregivers alike NEED this book. This education on speaking to children is imperative and will change many peoples lives in the long run. Outstanding read, I can't recommend it more. I had ordered this for a child development class and am so happy to have this in my library and knowledge bank. A++++++
