I have almost all the CD's of Eric Burdon and this is one of the best. The old Burdon is pretty young!. Buy it and you will hear very good music of one of the best singers of the century.

In 1988 Eric finally had a record contract again. Loads of material were recorded, and the point was to make a CD with many songs and spoken words/intros in between. Sadly, the whole project sort of crumbled and this was the result. 9 songs originally released on LP by a label that soon after went out of buisness. Many, but extremely rare, bootlegs excist with outtakes, different versions and left out songs, but the quality isn't all that good. In 1995 a collection of these were released on CD on an album called Lost Within The Halls Of Fame, who looked much more like this album should have been in '88.
But still, these 9 songs who "survived" are really good. Typical 80's arrangements with horns and stuff. And like my friend Pedro said here - the old Burdon is pretty young! Well worthy of owning.

This is an authentic Rock'n Roll album,with great performance of this "Monster"! Eric Burdon's music is of great energy specially some tracks like "Leo's Place"!!!
This is music that goes directly to our vain...directly to our soul.Just put the earphones,hit the level of the sound....and what delicious music!!!!!!
