Gary Allan's first is awesome,
By Heidi (Rochester, MN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Used Heart for Sale (Audio CD)
This cd was Gary's first that I heard for the first time as a freshman in college, so maybe that is why I am partial to it, but I love all of his cds. I have been a fan since 1996, and he has been my favorite artist since. He is wonderful in concert also. I recommend any of his three releases. They are all excellent. His vocal style is unlike any other, which makes him a rare find in the music business. I highly recommend this cd. I have gotten non-country-fan friends of mine to buy this, it is really that good!

Good Debut,
By Jake Z "holden84" (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Used Heart for Sale (Audio CD)
This album was released in the fall of 1996, and introduced one of my favorite male country singers. Gary Allan understands what true country is, and is not afraid to showcase it on his albums. Hopefully one day he receives the acclaim and attention he deserves. The hit from this album was the ballad "Her Man", and the two other singles were "Forever And A Day" and "Living In A House Full Of Love". The title track is my favorite of the bunch, and the closing "Wake Up Screaming" is another definite highlight. Not his strongest album, but a good introduction to his music, and an overall pretty solid debut album.
