5.0 out of 5 stars Great reference, May 23, 2010
This review is from: Users' Guides to the Medical Literature: A Manual for Evidence-Based Clinical Practice, Second Edition (Jama & Archives Journals) (Paperback)
This should be a required text for everyone in medicine as well as for anyone who reviews medical articles. As a scientist, I am often dismayed at the poor quality of many of the studies conducted and even more dismayed when a study of poor quality is picked up by the popular press and reported as gospel. Equally disconcerting is when the results of a study are misinterpreted or mis-reported in reviews. I would highly recommend this reference to anyone who regularly reads anything in the medical literature.
