Review
"Theories texts are important and cover a wide breadth of information. However, counselors are often looking for more applied information on how to actually go about the process of assessment and vocational counseling. This book is a wonderful addition to a theories text. I love that there are sample profiles for each of the instruments. No course has enough time for students to learn every instrument their future jobs will require of them. However, this allows them to be aware of what the instruments look and feel like."
"The book is the best resource available for helping students really understand how to integrate standardized assessment results into counseling practice. The concrete examples of profiles and illustrations of uses is particularly helpful."
