5.0 out of 5 stars A good intermediate book
This is not a beginner's book, but it does have enough information to inspire the intermediate calligrapher to more creative usage. This is not a beginner's book, but it does have enough information to inspire the intermediate calligrapher to more creative usage. (For the benefit of the previous reviewer, I will note that not all alphabets have upper and lower case forms, particularly Celtic. Those that do have both forms are thoroughly covered in Ms. Shepherd's book for beginners.) This book contains a lot of very useful layout and design information, as well as helpful ideas on starting a calligraphy business. My copy is quite dog-eared, as it has seen a lot of use. I recommend this!
