A good intermediate book
This is not a beginner's book, but it does have enough information to inspire the intermediate calligrapher to more creative usage. Those that do have both forms are thoroughly covered in Ms. Shepherd's book for beginners.) This book contains a lot of very useful layout and design information, as well as helpful ideas on starting a calligraphy business. My copy is quite dog-eared, as it has seen a lot of use. I recommend this!
