5.0 out of 5 stars A great introduction for engineers, July 31, 2001

This review is from: Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (Paperback)
Using Computational Fluid Dynamics is a ideal introduction for engineers who are about to take the leap into using CFD software and solve real world problems.

It includes an introduction to flow phenomena, talks about the basic concepts of the numerical method and then gives some actual examples of using CFD. It includes everything a new CFD user wants to consider like what computer resources do I need and what boundary conditions are suitable for my problem.

I recommend this book to every intern student, graduate or engineer changing tack into CFD who wants to start using CFD in a real engineering environment. It's very easy to read, full of excellent perspectives and allows engineers to get a feel for the subject very quickly.
