pricey (but what do you expect i guess) but pretty good,

this is an easy to understand text if you make the effort to learn the underlying statistics. start with chapter 17 if you have this book - it's the review chapter. i've read the first seven chapters thus far, and so far so good. if i had to do it over again, it's likely that i would just get one of the prior editions as i'm guessing the bulk of the information would be the same.
