4.0 out of 5 stars Very easy for the beginner student of computers and technology., September 25, 2011
By
Very easy to read, well organized. I'm a techie, but the book is still readable enough that a person who has just been introduced to a computer can begin to understand its history and how it works. It also explains in detail how society uses and advances technology every day. Very good read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great price and good book!, February 22, 2011

So the only reason why I didn't give the book 5 stars is because of the material in the book. The book itself is in great condition, came quickly and was a great price. Though, if you are a student trying to get a cheaper price and buy the older edition you MUST keep in mind that some of the information is a little outdated. Though it still works perfectly and alongside the lectures in class I don't have any issues with the book. It was the perfect decision for me and I would recommend it to other students, as long as you already have a basic background in computers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for any age., January 8, 2010

This book is very well written and simple to read. I know quite a bit about computers and how fast things change with them. I also have many friends and family who have a wide range in knowledge when it comes to computers. I find it very amazing how much information is packed into this book and how simple it allows a person to "learn" while reading. You can choose particular topics to learn more about, or just read the entire book for an all around greater understanding of computers and electronics.
