4.0 out of 5 stars Somewhat hardcore, but very good, June 27, 2002

This review is from: Using the M68HC11 Microcontroller: A Guide to Interfacing and Programming (Hardcover)
This is a very good book to read if you are already familiar with microcontroller basics. Otherwise, you will get deluged by the details. The book is very hands on. The pin logics are explained in great detail. However, the assembly language used
in this book does not allow labels, so all the cross-references in the codes are made using actual hexadecimal numbers. This occasionally makes the codes difficult to read. There are lots of COMPLETE examples (not merely code snippets) in the book. If you know the basics, and want to invest in a book that will give you a thorough understanding of the HC11, then this is a good book for you.
