I live in the Four Corners area and I was looking for photographic books that presented the four states in all their glory (gifts for a friend in Eastern Europe). This is the one I bought to represent Utah. I was a little skeptical at first because it didn't have a review, but I decided to take a chance. I am happy I did because it is the nicest one of the bunch! The photography is so incredible that I have decided to buy another copy for myself.

My husband and I both love Southern Utah and the outdoors and both love photography so I got this for him for a birthday gift. It is gorgeous and we still enjoy flipping through it from time to time.

I have traveled through Utah and photographed much of its unending beautiful scenery on a number of family vacations over the past 50 years. I first saw this book in the Zion National Park Visitor Center right after my most recent hike down the Narrows. I was too tired to carry it at the time, but I ordered it from Amazon upon my return to my home in Tennessee. I have visited many of the sites that Mr. Till has included in this book and I am duly impressed by his excellent photography work. The book includes a few well written essays by Mr. Till's daughter, but it is mostly filled with spectacular photographs. Unlike many coffee table books, the photos are reproduced in relatively high quality throughout. Most, if not all of his work is done with large format cameras, which I personally am still partial to, although I am now converting to digital in my old age. Mr. Till describes where each photo was taken, and every time I thumb through the book, I want to plan another trip to visit and photograph the same scenery.
