I chose this book over several similar ones because it offered information on state parks and under-the-radar camp sites. In general, it seems to focus more on the lass-visited attractions than Fodor's, for example. I'm using this book to set up my next RV adventure.

We just got back from a two week vacation, and this was our best source for travel in Utah. We also took the AAA book, and some maps, but this book fleshes out the locales the best. We did disagree with some of the food recommendations, but for the most part, this Moon guidebook is by far the best!

Good overview,

It provides a good overview of all the features in Utah. I would suggest looking at a book of the southwest. There are things to see away from Utah that are worth stopping to see. We spent a lot of time on the road and this book is a major planning tool for how much time it takes to see each section of the national parks. Great all around book to help you plan your trip. Read before and during trip.
