Great camping utensils,

My wife and I each used a set of these on our three day camping trip. We both really liked them a lot.
They come in a small carrying case and the two halves can piece together to form one unit. The best part about them separating is that you can use the spoon and the fork at the same time. This is often the case if you're trying to cook with one and eat with the other simultaneously. There is also a knife and a can opener that are folded down as well. They are stainless steel so they are very easily cleaned. I love how easy they fit together for storage and the handles don't feel awkward or anything. Great product!

This review is from: Mess Utensil Knife, Olive Drab Handle, w/Sheath (Misc.)
I have a son in-law in Iraq, he made the comment the last time he was home how it felt good to eat with real utensils. They use plastic utesils that come with there MRE'S. I found these on line and sent them a coouple sets. Got word back the other day they love them.

I was so taken with the usefulness of this that i had to buy it the second i saw it. As a college student who also enjoys the outdoors, this is a perfect tool. It's great for backpacking, and the dorm room where every square inch is valuable. Good construction, and the separating utensils was a great idea. The only reason i give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the knife is made of the same quality steel as the rest of the tool (aka not good knife steel), and the blade does not go all the way back to the handle. I guess i couldn't have expected better for four bucks...
Overall GREAT tool!

Bought a couple of these to field test - like them so much I bought a half dozen more - surprisingly robust.

I bought this thinking it'd be better than the Ozark Trail ones sold at walmart, however I was disappointed.
Built quality is decent. I fear that the plastic handle will wear down with the fork and spoon sliding out all the time. I can't comment on the quality of steel used on the utensils I have yet to use this in the field/camping. The real deal breaker for me is that the spoon and fork and so small. The fork I can live with, but the spoon is so small and shallow its difficult to eat off of it. Overall its ok. Defiantly better than nothing, but I'll be going to walmart and buying the Ozark hobo tool (3.50) because I much prefer the full sized utensils

I was disappointed in the size of the spoon, not the sturdiest of of metal either. The items were shipped in a timely manner and overall it works well.

Aside from the knife blade looking like it was honed by apes on LSD, this thing is great. It feels very solid, it comes apart and goes back together very easily, and the clasping mechanism is so simply I can't imagine it breaking. You flip out the spoon, flip out the fork, then it comes apart. Flip the spoon back in and fold out the knife if you need it. Very well thought out. The brushed stainless finish looks great, and every folding part snaps and locks nicely. Simple black belt sheath. You generally have to worry about the quality of under ten dollar Chinese made stuff, but it's unfounded here. Great quality, great price.

This is a really nice set for camping. It is compact and has all the tools you need to eat. The knife wasn't super sharp, but it took a great edge when I did sharpen it and is now just as good as my fancy Wusthof set.

What a nifty, compact portable utensil set! The big pluses with this set is that it's stainless steel and comes apart nicely. It's great that it comes with a pouch as well. These aren't flimsy, either - they seem to be durable. Looked at alot of utensils - bought several types but this is my favorite. Worth the price paid so far.

I got this for my son for Christmas. Great Value and Quality. The Come-Apart Design is what sold me on it! He had to use it right away, even though we weren't camping.
