I bought this CD because I really liked LUZ SIN GRAVEDAD, but was pleasantly surprised by NI FREUD NI TU MAMA and especially BELLA TRAICION. Actually top notch, entertaining songs. BELLA TRAICION is especially catchy and good for some "repeats" on the CD player.

This is a TWO disc set, one CD with 18 tracks and one DVD with six tracks.

The CD includes English language translations of LUZ SIN GRAVEDAD, BELLA TRAICION, NI FREUD NI TU MAMA and PUDO SER TAN FACIL. Some better than others, but the Bella Traicion translation (END OF THE DAY) makes no sense in English. Adaptation might be a better word than translation, but sadly it doesn't help the song! A five star track en Espanol, 2 stars in English. AY! Also included is a track from the "Cheetah Girls 2" soundtrack. DOH! Can you say "manufactured entertainment"????

This is where the credibility problem rears its ugly head. Belinda is a very talented vocalist with incredible range and versatility, but it's imperitive for her to RUN FAST and RUN FAR away from anything even remotely related to the "children's entertainment industry". I don't care how talented somebody is, the taint of getting mixed up with this business is a surefire way to destroy any credibility with an adult audience. All of which would be a shame, as Belinda deserves a better fate than the oblivion teen stars usually fade into as they age! My second tidbit of advice is skip the "translations". They usually don't work very well. Better to simply mix original English and Spanish tracks if you want to sing for BOTH audiences.

DVD disc contains three VIDEOS of NI FREUD NI TU MAMA, BELLA TRAICION and LUZ SIN GRAVEDAD, plus a 4:00 minute clip about the album UTOPIA, a 13:15 MAKING OF BELLA TRAICION and an 8:30 MAKING OF LUZ SIN GRAVEDAD clip. All in Spanish without subtitles, except for subtitles in Spanish for when the people speak English. Interesting videos and clips.

Again, this a TWO DISC set. NO lyric sheet, but interesting multi-panel fold-out liner notes (see pics supplied by the other reviewer, showing full views of the whole liner sheet).

WORTH A LISTEN. Still lacks some maturity, but hopefully somebody will steer Belinda AWAY from Disney and similar credibility traps. As I said, this is a talent that deserves a better fate than most of the manufactured "idols" and "children's entertainment stars" of today.

Keep the top hat, but dump the magic kingdom!

I give UTOPIA four stars. I'd give Belinda FIVE stars for talent, but again, parts of this disc lack credibility and maturity (see above!) so I can only give the whole product FOUR stars. Still, worth a listen. If you don't need videos, save a few bucks and opt for the standard CD version of UTOPIA. Either way, generally enjoyable. Hopefully a stepping stone en route to becoming a credible, mature pop vocalist.

Este es un excelente cd, no dudes en comprarlo, no tiene desperdicio, todas las canciones valen la pena, tanto las movidas como las lentas, es mas, si puedes comprarte ambos cds de ella no te vas a repentir
