O.V. Wright is not only one of the best southern soul singer ever, he is also one of the most overlooked. O.V. Wright's work kind of reminds me of David Ruffin's solo career. These two really put their guts into everything they sung. Needless to say, Willie Mitchell's production is nothing short of amazing throughout the five albums included in this boxset (think of your favorite Al Green albums).

This item is rather pricey but it's the only way to get some of these incredible albums, and the vinyl sleeve-like packaging is top-notch. I would buy it again.
