I bought this product 3 months ago and have done over 3,000 solves on my cube. This is without a doubt the best 5x5x5 on the current market. This cube has amazing corner cutting (more than 1 piece), barely pops(once ever 25-30 solves), and rarely locks up. The internal mechanism of this cube is extremely sturdy and gives the cube a very nice and crisp feel. The clicking mechanism on the 8 corners seems to be the only odd thing on this cube. The bumps on the corners that give this puzzle a "clicky" feel seem unnecessary (And I ended up just sanding down the bumps anyway and now it has a better smoother feel). The sticker quality is great and I had no problems with stickers peeling, however after a the first month (And 800-900 solves)the stickers started to chip at a very high rate and I ended up just peeling the stickers off and replacing them with Cubesmith smooth tiles from [...]. All and all this cube is definitely worth the buy and with the great shipping prices and fast time, this is a puzzle you should not be without. I highly recommend this puzzle to anyone.

This a good product. I have a "traditional" 5x5x5 cube and this vcube is far and away better. It is faster, quieter, and more durable. Have only had one lose piece and it snapped back almost immediately. I would recomend this product to anyone.

This V-Cube is so superior to other cubes even Eastsheen. Ready to use right out of the box. Do yourself a favor and buy this if you are looking for a 5x5

I decided to purchase the V Cube 5 after I purchased the Rubik's brand 4x4 cube, and found that cube very stiff and difficult to operate. I have large, relatively strong hands, and the Rubik's brand would give them a workout. After hearing from other review site that the V Cubes were easier to turn, I made my decision and picked this one up. I did not expect it to be as great as it really is. It is exceptionally easy to turn, feels sturdy enough that you don't think it's going to break, and even if it does break apart, as all cubes tend to do if you force them the wrong way, it came with a very helpful step-by-step diagram on how to reassemble the cube. I haven't had to use that diagram yet, but it's nice to know they provided it.

Also, the seller, Vacuums Plus Inc., did an exceptional job of shipping this item. I ordered this on a Thursday afternoon, with two day shipping, and was surprised to receive it Friday morning. I've never had that happen before. Very nice.

All in all, this is a great product, and I highly recommend it.

this is one of the best v-cubes that i have ever put my hands on. i just ordered a new v-cube 7 and i also cant wait for that one to come in. my only regrets for the v-cube company is the v-cube 6. i received one and i had the most difficult time with it. every time i try to speed solve it, the inner alignment gets out of whack. so any ways back to the v-cube 5, i suggest this cube to people who can solve the 3x3 and the 4x4. i say this because it is difficult to edge pair, (4x4) but the last part of solving it is easy (3x3).

THis thing out of the box was amazing. It's been through some hell. I've yet to have any problems with it. Whoever said it was crappy or couldn't do finger tricks, they're wrong. Snap back is Pretty good on this cube. Well worth it. Don't buy that 5x5x5 by winning moves--that cube is garbage.

This Cube is by far the best cube I have ever had. I do not know if it is the best on the market, But it is the best one I own. What makes it stand out is the fact that the stickers on it have held up very well. Unlike my other cubes, these stickers feel like they are real heavy duty and were actually made to stay on. Another thing that makes this cube the best is that it turns super nice. It came pre-oiled and ready to go. It came in a nice package and actually got here rather fast. Shipping is always terrible. But if I remember right, I got free shipping. So that was good. Another great thing about my vcube 5 is that it never locks up. ever ever. I have only had one cubie pop out so far. I do not know how it could have popped out because I could hardly get it back in! I ended up pushing and turning the cube to push it back in place. That piece has not came out again. Word to the wise, if a piece does fall out, Put it back in right away! when the piece on my cube came out, The whole layer basically fell in. so I am pretty sure that the cube cannot support itself with a cube missing. In other words each cube holds the other cubes in place. This cube is great for learning about concentration. There are 98 pieces on the exterior of the cube: 8 corners, 36 edges, and 54 centers (48 movable, 6 fixed) That is a lot of pieces to put back. however, I was able to solve it rather quickly. 10 Min or so and I had it done. But, Who knows. maybe it will be a real challenge for someone else. if you get stuck on it google big cubes and then you will find a website called big cubes that will be able to help you with solving the vcube 5. Most of the moves of the 3x3 and 4x4 can be used to solve this puzzle. I hope that if you are looking for a rubiks professor that you look for one of these instead.

Just brilliant quality, rarely pops if ever, easy to lube. Takes a few solves to break in then after lubing, its the best 5x5 on the market!!!

Received this cube yesterday and was very pleased. I have the V6 and V7. Very smooth and quiet cube. My professor cube feels like it's going to fall apart compared to this V5.
Great product that will last a very long time.

I have the V-cube 5x5, 6x6, and 7x7 in the black versions. These are great cubes, they are much better than the Rubik's brand name cubes. They are smooth and fast and they corner very well. They can and will pop occasionally if you are speed cubing with them but that is to be expected to a certain degree. There are also new versions of the V-cube 2x2 available now. I highly recommend the V-cubes, if you go to their website to look at their selection you will be surprised at all the offerings they have available these days. Of course I'm still waiting for the 3x3 (held up by patent rights) and the other cubes from 8x8 up to 11x11 that they keep promising. If you want a cube that is 5x5 or larger then absolutely get these, you won't be disappointed.
