After "made in hawaii" I wasn't sure I wanted to part with the money for this import. I found it on the marketplace for almost half the money and it is well worth it if you like Akira's style of playing. It is definately riff filled heavy metal but what makes it for me is when he breaks out of the metal mode. The song 'earth' is a gorgeous piano piece. I see that that one is not included on the CD. The one I bought has 17 tracks. This CD would get a 5 if it had guest vocals. Akira does sing on the last track 'broken camera' but I am not too hip on his singing. Still makes the cd interesting enough!! I would love to see Akira explore the electronic music genre and see what he could come up with!!!
