This is the first pasta machine that I've owned or used, but I believe it is an excellent product. The machine and cutter attachment are very solid and sturdy, and the motor is very helpful. Some people can make pasta alone without a motor, but I don't think I could manage without help if I had to use the crank.

Two tips:
* I would attach the cutter piece even when not using it. It seems to help counterbalance the weight of the motor.
* Consider buying a pasta drying rack at the same time. It's not necessary, but I would otherwise run out of space even when preparing a single batch of pasta.

The only obvious improvement I see that needs to be made is with the instructions. Some patience is required when reading the English translation.

I ordered and returned this item twice. I was under the impression, I was ordering a new./ never used product. Both times the item was used, not completely cleaned with some visible rust spots, and a piece missing. I have returned it and ordered elsewhere.
