At least I have! After searching Amazon waiting for some fresh gospel to purchase, I am excited about this release.

V3, 3 sisters from the Atlanta area, represent well with their debut release. If you are looking for a CD with memorable hooks and a meaningful message, look no further. The writing is extraordinary and you'll be singing the hooks soon after listening. After hearing this CD, it is definitely a part of my rotation in the car. I've got to buy another for the office because the upbeat numbers (Take Me There, Let Go and Let's Take It, for instance) will keep the day moving. If it's mellow and melodic you are looking for then Love Makes the World Beautiful, I Need You, Have You Ever? and Take the Time should fit the bill.

I can't wait to see these ladies perform live. They'll surely secure a great fan base with their solid debut release. The message of God's love is weaved through each song and sung from the heart someone who has had a personal experience with God.

This is one of those rare CDs that you don't have to skip through songs to get to the "good ones". Every song is well written and performed superbly.

Thanks V3 for breathing a breath of fresh air into the Gospel music arena.

Arguably the younger version of Virtue, V3 burst on the gospel music scene this summer as a fresh-faced trio of sisters from Atlanta. LaToya, Shelley, and Sacha Vinson aim "to be real" with young listeners through their debut album, which is a blend of traditional and contemporary gospel, and mainstream pop and R&B.

God's perfect love emerges as the main theme in this collection. The eclectic groove of "Let Go" opens the album with a burst of energy as the girls admonish their listeners to release worry and give their cares to God. The lush ballads of "Love Makes The World Beautiful," "I Need You," and "Thank You" showcase the ladies ability to emotively interpret beautiful melodies, and the neo-soul moodiness of "Irreplaceable" and "Have You Ever" leave the listener in a state of deep contemplation.

The only noticeable missteps in this collection are "Take Me There" and "Let's Take It." "Take Me There" adopts the current Atlanta sound (think Ciara's "Get Up") from vocal delivery to the lyrics. Though it's catchy, "Take Me There," with its minimalistic beats and disposable pop/R&B feel, fails to help V3 maintain its artistic originality. In the same vein, "Let's Take It" sounds like and updated version of Virtue's "Take It By Force," but it's not as engaging or lyrically strong.

With Latoya and Sacha both co-writing some of the album's songs and receiving production help from Double Dutch (Antonio, and Josiah Bell & Robert Marvin), the album retains a consistent sound and vibe, pleasant from beginning to end. On the heels of Trin-i-tee 5:7, the disbanded Out of Eden, and the now defunct Ramiyah, V3 take the reigns of urban gospel and follow along the worn path of an ambivalent genre.

I love this CD. My favorite songs are Let Go, I need you, Close to you, Have you ever, Take the time. The vocals are really good, these young ladies can sing. It is so nice to see them using their talent to glorify God's kingdom !

i must admit that when i first saw the v3 cd, i did not buy it. i,honestly, thought they were just another girl group...another sister act. i love the clark sisters, virtue, trinitee 5:7, and many other female groups.
however, i kept looking at the v3 cd and thought..."maybe these girls can really minister..." there are many people out there who can just sing, but not many of them actually minister. well, the ladies of v3 actually minister.
i like the versitility shown by v3. they go from the slow ballads like "i need you" to a bumnpin' song.
i believe there is somethng on the cd for everyone. now that i've purchased it, i listen to it all the time.

This is a nice contemporary gospel cd. These young ladies have pretty voices. I use the upbeat "Take Me There" and "Let's Take It" for my treadmill workouts. "Thank You" is very meditative and sweet. I listen to it while in a relaxed, peaceful and reflective mood (or to get into one!) This was a good buy.
