I was hesitant to pick up this amp due to the durability complaints about Bugera/Behringer products. Since I don't gig out, I figured I'd test my luck with this as a studio head. I've only had it for a month, so I can't really report in on that front.

The clean channel is very versatile and gets a nice compression at high volume. It sounds great with pedals -- using a TS-9 reissue, it gets that great SRV "Little Wing" solo tone.

The high gain channel is a bit fuzzy at high levels but sounds great around 5-6. Good bite and even harmonics, definitely "usable" distortion. Like any tube head, you really need to crank it to get the best sound.

It includes a footswitch to control the channels/reverb, which is all you need. There's a mid-range boost button on the head as well, but I didn't find the tone (when boosted) very usable.

My only complaints are that the reverb is not as good as an actual spring reverb, but it does the trick. It's a lot lighter than most reverbs, and I found myself turning it up to 5-6 to get what would typically be a 3-4 on a spring reverb unit.

For $350, you basically get a head that produces a ton of versatile tones and goes great with pedals. If that's what you need (as I did), this is your amp. Provided that I don't experience any durability issues, I'm a believer.

I ordered this amp to be shipped to me because while I liked the combo version, I wanted the head version so I could crank through a cool big cab, and locally there was only the combo version sold. Long story short, the first model I received worked fine for a few sessions, and then had some kind of strange, loud, and unacceptable snow/fuzz going on. Spent the shipping cash to send back, and the second model has operated fine- my fingers are crossed. I've used it out like once or twice, and done a bunch of studio work with it. I am hoping the less-than-perfect chinese circuitry holds up this time.
Overall I think they did a beautiful job of creating an affordable package of tube-tone with juat the right amount of versatility/functionality without making it too complicated. Perfect for someone who just wants a to-the-point tube head. Different options for ohms depending on your cab, and also a switchable power-amp section that can go all-out with all power tubes, or just two. Great option. I really like the broken-up tone on the dirty channel. Really crispyraw and bell-ish, not annoying to the ear.
I will add to the post if any problems occur. Overall I really have enjoyed this amp.

Think TWICE before investing your money in products which have no parts backup.
The digital reverb failed on one of these amps that was less than 2 years old. NO PARTS.

Great tone, but also no way to fix it when it's broken.
Thanks a lot, "Music Group."

Great tube sound at a fraction of the comparable tube amp price. Not a Marshall JCM but it wasn't $2500 either!
