These cans are small, but it is all I need. I am over sixty and live alone, and therefore do not eat full meals like I did when I was younger. Drinking one can of V8 during the day is fast, and with my low metabolism, V8 allows me to receive the necessary nutrients I need without eating a full meal, which would give me unnecessary fats, carbohydrates, and calories. This, of course, is only a substitute for one meal.

These are really great sized cans for a meal away from home - not too filling yet enough to feel full and gives a boost of energy. I like that my husband can take one can for lunch while he's at work and they don't need to be refrigerated. The size is good for a snack - if the can were any larger I would feel too full. This goes on sale frequently so watch the price for a bit if you aren't in a hurry and it's sure to drop.

If you're buying these to have at home, it's probably cheaper to buy V-8 in the larger containers and portion it out. We make our own vegetable juice in the summer months but the produce is just too expensive in the winter to make juice, and this is a perfect substitute.

As for Amazon's fulfillment of the order, there are a lot of cans in this order and they come in lots of plastic. Each 6 pack is wrapped in plastic, then the whole order is wrapped in plastic - you get the idea. This is typical of bulk orders but it just seems like such a waste. :(

I had bought these for a juice fast I was trying, but I couldn't always make fresh juices at work. These are satisfying and great in a pinch. I wish I could find some of the "low sodium" at a decent price, but these are still less than regular V8. They are pretty tasty, like drinking Spaghettios. They are pretty satisfying overall.
