Woeful,
By Jeff Costello (Melbourne Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: VAN GOGH CONSPIRACY:A NOVEL (Hardcover)
This book feels like it was written by a twelve year old. The clunky dialogue and cliche riddled plot are just ridiculous and in case we missed it the first time, don't worry, everything is repeated ad nauseum.
The book is obviously well researched though, as we get large chunks of facts the author obviously found interesting, but have no relevance to anything, served up in each chapter. I see that this author has written a book on writing novels. Maybe next time they might want to have a look at that before putting pen to paper. One star is generous. |
