Fairly decent., June 16, 2011
There are pros and cons to these shoes. Though the computer I was browsing on didn't let me see the zoom in views, I did not know they were in fact, gold speckled. But it will pass muster I suppose (at least I hope so, the mother of the groom hasn't gotten back to me yet on them). The shoes I received, though, seem to be much more for a long foot, at least the toe is rather pointy than what I got from the picture. Also, the front of the shoe is definitely for people with feet that are on the flat side. If you have high arches, your "toe knuckles" are going to be in a war zone for room.
However the style of the shoe is nice, it's elegant and plain, none of that fru-fru gaudy stuff on it that seems to be the fad (nor the mummy wraps!). It was the expected shiny texture, and the heel is quite hard. It should make a good click on any hard floor.
