Bought these low-heel boots as a present for my Mother. She requires a Wide width and has a high instep. It is very hard to find low heel boots which she can wear comfortably. These boots were a dream to wear (her words) from day one . . . no break-in period required. One of my better successes with gifts for her.

i think the shoe is overall too shiny. if the leather was more matte, i think it'd look more sophisticated. i'm short and this boot is too tall on me.

These boots are very beautiful, fit perfectly true to size, and are very well made and sturdy. There is no break in period, as they are very comfortable from the get go. My only gripe is that I wish they were just a bit taller, as they sit just about in the middle of the calf.
