I've been searching a right book for myself; bought Excel 2002 VBA: Programmers Reference and Excel VBA Programming for Dummies. Neither of them satisfied my needs, maybe because of my "unique" situation. I've learned programming in C and C++, and I'm not an expert of Excel, probably between intermediate and advanced level. Yet I'm not a professional developer or programmer. In other word, I had some knowledge of both programming and Excel, but not enough to program in VBA in Excel.

Needed a tutorial book where I can practice and learn syntax step-by-step, which required an organized, a kind of textbook where I can gain my knowledge as read along. Reference typed books didn't work for me, but this book did. I recommend this book to a person whose background is similar to mine and prefer or build structural programming skills.
