Man, I love this pen. It's the right shape, the ink is perfect and it practically floats on the paper. No smudgy mess. No uneven ink flow at the most inopportune moment. I think it might even make me a better writer. In fact, if the pen was helping me out with this review it would be at least 15x more eloquent...my keyboard just can't compete.

There are cheap pens by the millions that will leave you unsatisfied.
There are expensive pens that you can't afford to lose.

Then there's the Pilot V-Ball Grip Rollerball Pen. It is simply the highest quality disposable pen you will ever find. After a lifetime of owning dry, dull, listless pens that can't do the job, I found this pen and never looked back. I am not OCD, but I will not use any pen but this pen. It is one of the few concessions I will not make. Not only does this pen NEVER fail me when I write, its craftsmanship allows the fine details of my superb handwriting to be displayed for the world to see.

Leonardo, Michelangelo...all great artists had their choice brush that helped bring to life their finest works. The Pilot V-Ball pen is my brush, of which even the most mundane tasks/signatures can show that penmanship matters each and every hour of the day. Someday soon I will buy a lifetime supply of this pen just in case it's ever discontinued.

I love this pen. The writing is smooth and effortless. There is much less need to press down as you write which gives a very lightweight feeling when in use. As a person with carpel tunnel and a bit of stiffening in my joints I have found it priceless. I can write with ease again using this pen.
