I have used this contraceptive for over 3 years now as our only form of birth control. I have 4 children under the age of 10 so I am usually quite fertile and was a little nervous about this product initially. My body does not do well on hormone contraceptives and it is hard to find an effective non-hormonal contraceptive asside from condoms. This product is easy to use with virtually no clean up and doesn't cause you to leak as Encare did. This is just my experience but we have not gotten pregnant in the 3 years that we have used this product.

My wife and I just started using these films about 6 weeks ago. She went off of hormonal birth control due to side effects and we are in the process of switching to a non-hormonal copper iud. In the meantime we're using condoms and these films. As with other reviews it is essential to fold the films over a couple of times for ease of insertion. My wife has had no reactions during or after using it. I can't speak to the effectiveness of these without another form of bc i.e.cervical cap, condom or diaphragm. I do know however know that according to planned parenthood and my wife's obgyn, spermicides are only about 15-20% effective by themselves, hence my wife and i use condoms.

This is fast,easy and no mess.After reading many reviews I was expecting to have some trouble inserting this but boom no trouble at all,and my most positive thing to say is thier is no mess.

BE CAREFUL! If you are allergic or sensitive to spermicide you could have a VERY BAD reaction.

I have never had problems with spermicide before but I had lots of vaginal irritation starting about 15 min after sex and my boyfriend almost immediately was in terrible pain. The spermicide got into his urethra and there isn't really anything to do but deal with it until it can be flushed out. BTW-peeing will hurt a lot.)

They changed these. They used to be 1 big square, now they are folded in half. I suspect they changed the formula too because I used one and it gave me a horrible yeast infection. I've only had 1 yeast infection in my entire life up until after using this. Stay away, far away.

I used this exactly as the directions stated, and in the first month I ended up pregnant with my daughter. Don't trust it! It doesn't work!

I am disappointed. I got the product without his package and the instruction. in addition, the filmws size was different from the source that amazon show in the website.
