And this is working so good!

I have been using one I bought previously for close to a year now and I have had no complaints.

As long as your appliance power needs are relatively low, buy this unit.

Transformer works good so far with my European TV and DVD-Player. I use it at half capacity (220 Watt). Only the On/Off-Button doesn't work anymore since the 2nd week.

This power converter worked great. Bought it online from Amazon and had it shipped to Iraq. Even in the extreme heat and dust of the middle east it worked no problems. Price including shipping was much lower than the similar units that were being sold in the BX/PX. I would reommend it.

This little guy is super compact, about 1/4 the size of our other converters. We use it for our US TV in the bedroom here in the UK. Our other ones operate the entertainment center and some kitchen appliances. After owning this product for a few weeks, the size and silence of the unit has convinced us to replace all the units in our house with this brand.

Bought this about six months ago and use it pretty much every day. No problems so far, but I turn it off at night and when I leave the house, and I only use it at half capacity to be sure (I only use 150W or less).

Living in Germany and having American electrical products is a problem. This unit helps solve some of the problems by letting me use my existing products. I have a couple of these in 2,000 watts as well and I was able to get them at less than half of what I would have had to pay if purchased at an Army PX. This is a very good item and one that I will use when back in the States for my 220 volt items as you can use it as an inverter as well.

I spend a lot of my time outside the US, but on occasion, I would purchase the odd electrical appliance rated at 110v by mistake. It's always nice to have one of these babies around.

I bought the VT-500 more than 8 months ago, and even though I haven't used it extensively since then (I bought it to power a polk subwoofer, folks around me do not like loud music as much as I do, so I don't turn it on a lot), my impressions are that this is a well built transformer. Unlike previous step up/down transformers purchased, they would introduce a certain hum to the appliance, especially audio equipment. I have not had any such issues with this. It seems to handle fluctuating voltage very well with no interference to my sound.

I'm glad I bought this. Great product.

Well there is no "carry handle" and most of all i see no "UL" or "CE" certifications which would make it against the law to sale or use in the states. I am using it in Kuwait ill let you know if it burns my apt. down!

UPDATE. Been using this power supply. 1 at my Apt. and one at work, both have been flawless working 24/7, 365 :)

I know I have told several of my deployed friends and they too have ordered one of these and they also love it. They sell them in the FX for $120.00 verses what I paid for this one which was a third. I run a 24"TV, DVD Player, Clock, Lamp and a fan with no problems. for the money this is one of the best buys I have made in years!
