This is Step down grounded transformer with a round pin European / shucko plug also good for the recessed outlets in Europe. It is meant for travel to 220V/240V Countries. It allows the use of american 110V products in 220V countries. It has a maximum capacity of 150 Watts. Ideal for laptops, handheld video games, charging phones, cameras, camcorders, iPods or with CD players, DVD players, shavers, razors etc. to be used in most european & asian countries that use a B-type round pin plug. This converter is for light duty use. Please DO NOT use hair dryers, coffee makers, flat irons or other household kitchen appliances or tools with this converter. Converts 220/240V overseas power down to 110/120V. There is a On/Off Switch provided. Fuse Protected. TRANSFORMER PURCHASE GUIDE: Remember to leave at least a 100% slack for the transformer, Heating appliances, laser printers and power tools spike when you turn them on. For these products you need to buy a transformer that is at least 3 times the items capacity.

Worked as advertised. A bit heavy, but it is a transformer. Kept my cell phone from blowing up on 240V power in Denmark.

This worked great in Prague. I added a small power strip to it and charged my cell phone and laptop with it daily. Now, one cell and one laptop seem to be the max that it can handle. We tried to run two laptops and one cell at the same time and the converter got very warm. I am not sure if it was dangerously hot, but I was uncomfortable enough to unplug my laptop. As soon as we reduced the use to one laptop and one cell phone it cooled down and worked perfectly once again.
This is a great for a businessperson on the move in Europe, but I would suggest that each person on your team have his/her own instead of trying to share.

This product works exactly as advertised! I am still in Europe as I write this and it did work fine for charging my phone and computer for a week. My wife joined me and used it for a hair blower, too much and the fuse blew. All good I imagine, but I do not have a fuse. You can buy a similar product in Europe, but they do cost you more. Check your wattage before diving in and make sure it is for you. Side note: all you need for your laptop is a plug adapter if it states 120-240 input!
