This 33% duty cycle unit is capable of pressures up to 150 PSI and can be operated for up to 40 minutes at a time before needing to be rested. This is the perfect compressor for individuals who want a small but powerful compressor that's easy to use to keep RV/Motorhome tires at proper inflation. Great for any type of vehicle and fits in the car truck without taking up much space. I need to keep my motorhome at 110 PSI and this does it easy. I replaced my 400P with the 400P RV Automatic shut off. What a difference. In-line 130 PSI gauge is superb. Automatic shut off is great because I don't have to have someone at the pump to shut off. It shuts off automatic while checking pressure and just kicks back on when additional air is needed. Extra 30 ft hose is also great. Inflation gun with screw on tire hose is great as it doesn't fly off when adding air to high pressure tires. This is one of my best buys. It has made it fun to keep my motorhome tires at proper pressure this summer during our 3 month travels. We use it for our bikes, cars and other inflatable needs.

Bought this compressor to inflate 75 PSI trailer tires and 70 PSI truck tires. I had previously burned out several cheap Chinese air compressors inflating these tires, so I was somewhat surprised to find the Viair 400P-RV was stamped "made in China" considering the price. So far, so good - I've inflated the tires on my 35' tandem axle stock trailer (4 tires) from 50PSI to 75PSI in about 40 minutes (10 minutes a tire). The air hose extension is VERY handy, since the power cable on this pump is only about 5 feet long. With both air hoses connected, I can easily reach all 4 tires on the trailer. Pump got VERY hot during the inflation process. I've only used it once, so we'll see how long it lasts.

This compressor inflated our RV tires to 95 PSI with minimal waiting. It's compact, easy to use and a great anxiety-reducer. Having driven around strange towns looking for the correct air chuck for our dual tires, it's a relief to have a compressor on-board our RV. My only suggestion would be that the company design a somewhat more durable and better fitting carry bag. One piece of the apparatus is too long for the bag when assembled and we poked a hole in the bag on our first trip with the compressor. But that's a small complaint compared to the function of the compressor itself.
