I purchased the Pearl Videonow Color bundle, which included 3 pvds, for my 4.5 yr old for Christmas. I also purchased the Videonow Color Jr for 2.5 yr old. My husband thought it would be their least favorite toy and a waste of money, but has since changed his mind. Both my children love their videonows and take them everywhere. Grocery shopping is now a quite, pleasant experience, as well as errand running and longer car trips. I am also very impressed with the sound and picture quality and the durability (my son has dropped his many times with no ill-effect).

Even better is that the Videonow Jr and Videonow pvds are interchangeable. My daughter can watch the Dora Videonow Jr PVDs on her Videonow and my son can watch Spongebob on his Videonow Jr.

I also highly recommend the carrying cases. They are nice, offer extra protection against screen scratches, and do not interfer with the sound or picture quality. A bonus to the carrying cases is the separate storage area, with individual slots, for carrying up to 8 pvds.

Definitely the best buy of the season.

I bought this with traveling in mind! This is by far my 2 1/2 year old favorite toy! And no I did not get the VideoNow Jr. My husband and I figured if it lasted for a while my son would get tired of the "Toddler" look to the machine so we went for the one for "Big Kids".

This toy has been excellent! Like his own personal dvd player, he uses it in the car, waiting at the doctors and dentists office etc. It has been dropped at least a few times and it still works after over a year of use by a 2 year old.

My only complaint is there is not enough PVD choices for toddlers. They need to put out more!

Also, I disagree with the one who said it is not educational. My son has one with Blues Clues that has taught him at 2 years old to count to 100! He has also learned his shapes with Blue and he learned some spanish with Dora!

I would highly recommend it! But get the case because that has definately protected ours from a lot of spills and falls.

My two year old received this for her birthday and she has really been enjoying it. The only drawback is that it has been difficult to find the VideoNow JR. discs for it. Right now, she's happy to watch the only disc she has, but I'm really struggling to find other discs. It really comes in handy when we're out shopping or when I need her to sit still for a few minutes. She hasn't destroyed it yet and for a two year old, that's pretty good.

This was a replacement for a toy that a co-worker had given me. My 3 year old loves it for long trips and the grocery store. However, it would for durability it would probably be better for a little bit older child. The first one was dropped several times which made it necessary to purchase a new one.

My daughters love this personal video player. It is great for use in the car, or waiting situations with young kids. However it is so limited in that you can only use the videonow discs of shows with it. I would recommend getting a small personal dvd player instead.

I got this video now toy for my daughter who is 6 years old she loves this thing. Its like her own personal video player. When we go to south carolina or just to the mall she carries it in the little bag. one more thing i reccommend it for parents to buy for their kids because it really does keep them occupied. Its not educational but it is fun

I bought the pearl color thinking it would be iridescant but it is solid white don't buy it the colors are more exciting for kids but why don't they make matching headphones and cases for every color ?
