The chair, is perfect for relaxing and eating on your outdoor patio, offers the option of dining or lounge seating with five different positions. This chair is made with High Density Eucalyptus (or also known as Shorea in our line) and is the premium grade of solid "Eucalyptus Gradis" hardwood, grown in 100-percent well managed forests in Brazil, certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). There is little difference between High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea) and Teak when broken down to their core essence. The biggest attribute of High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea) is undoubtedly the strength of the timber. It's renowned for its excellent resistance to every day wear and tear. It is extremely durable and tightly grained to produce a desirable density. It remains unaffected by all variations in weather, especially its resistance to damp conditions makes itself extremely competent at combating insect attacks and decay. I priced wooden outdoor chairs at a local store and was stunned by the high price. This chair is a good compromise between quality and cost. It could be stained better. The finish could be smoother with another sanding or two. It is a bit challenging to figure out how to fold/expand and if you're not careful, your hand could get caught in the process. All that said, it folds, it reclines, it looks pretty good, and it feels fairly sturdy. And at one-third the cost of high-end chairs, it is a good deal and I am happy with the purchase.

I wanted some sleek looking folding chairs to pull out when company comes. I was excited to see these on Amazon because they are arm chairs with adjustable backs. The chairs are easy to set up, but do have a slight odor out of the box, so air them out a bit. The color is a lovely terracotta, they are sturdy, and they look so great that I am now using them as permanent seating for my back porch. I wish I had ordered more!
The one annoyance is the adjustable back. I like the feature for sitting, but anytime I move the chair by dragging it by the back, it collapses. Since this is the natural way I move a chair, it took some getting used to. Of course, I'm using them as permanent seating now, so this is not really an issue anymore.

I purchased two of these chairs a month ago. They came assembled so they are ready to go out of the box. The finish is uniform and the reclining feature is a nice feature.
