4.0 out of 5 stars Would buy again
For the money, I believe this to be the best buy right now. The picture quality is very good, perhaps only surpassed by Samsung, but Samsung costs much more. The sound quality is better than average, and better than Samsung because of the front facing speakers. The TV itself is very attractive and is very easy to set up and navigate the menus. If I had to do it over again...

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Customer Service
We bought this tv a month ago, and something happened with the input lock. Now the tv will not turn on. Customer Service was called two weeks ago, and they said it would take 5-7 days to get the part needed to fix the tv (also stated that it was an easy fix). We called back at 7 days, and was told that they would return a call to update us on where the part was at...

Amazon.com had the best price, and shipping was reasonably quick. (free)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great TV, September 4, 2010
This review is from: VIZIO E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
Picked it up at Sam's Club for $298. Had it for a week now and so far....so good. Very clear picture with GREAT sound. Compared prices at other places and found this price to be at least $60 cheaper than anywhere else. Simple setup from box, we were watching programs in less than 15 minutes. I believe with this television we got more bang for our buck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good TV for the price!, October 20, 2010
This review is from: VIZIO E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
We picked this up at a local supercenter and have been pleased with it right out of the box. Really easy set up and looks great with the blue-ray player.
Some of the better features include:
- A smart sound adjustment that keeps commercials from getting ridiculously loud.
- Four different picture sizes to adjust for wide screen and standard TV.
- Eco mode that isn't as bright and brilliant, but saves on power consumption.
- Easy USB connect to view pics on the TV in a slide show format.
- The screen itself is a sort of matte texture, so the chance of glare is reduced greatly.
- Just about everything is customizable for Picture, Audio, Channel locking, etc. (especially if you get into advanced menus)
Cons
- The picture doesn't look all that awesome with normal TV, but that's just how they get you to buy the "HD package" I suppose.
- The stand that the TV comes with is not adjustable at all!
- The Vizio symbol stays lit even when the TV is off... How is that eco-friendly?

All in all though, this is a great budget TV that works well in smaller rooms, and still looks good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great TV for both HD and non-HD channels, November 27, 2010
This review is from: VIZIO E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
I bought this TV for my home office. Since I'm using basic cable in this room, I wanted a TV that could display non-HD channels better than my high-end plasma.

This TV fits the bill perfectly. The digital, non-HD channels look very good. The "wide" mode allows the 4:3 480i channels to fill the screen without looking too stretched. Plus, the "vivid" picture mode really looks nice and bright.

I also have an indoor antenna hooked up to this TV to receive local HD channels. I think the HD channels look better on this $300 720p TV than my expensive 1080p plasma.

Finally, the speakers on this TV are quite good. I wanted a TV that had front projection speakers, since it wouldn't be hooked up to a surround-sound system. The speakers sound great, with nice EQ options.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Customer Service, December 30, 2010

We bought this tv a month ago, and something happened with the input lock. Now the tv will not turn on. We called back at 7 days, and was told that they would return a call to update us on where the part was at. Never got a call back, so we called again the same day. Then we were told that the part would take 7-10 days to get the part, or we could return it. Now it's been 2.5 weeks, still no part, and they cannot tell us where the part is until next week. The service at Vizio has not been helpful, and I will NOT be buying a Vizio ever again. There is too much of a chance that we would have to deal with their horrible customer service again!

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars, October 19, 2010
This review is from: VIZIO E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
Was looking for something else, and happened to see my TV and the other reviews. Just to balance things out. My Vizio 32" is 10 months old now and working great. Been played average of 8 hours a day everyday and picture and sound still sharp and clear. Took longer to assemble the wall bracket than to plug in and program all the features. Price is even better now than when I bought mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars I like it!, December 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: VIZIO E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
I bought this to move up from my old 26 inch "anchor". Although the old tv was fine I did get tired of the faint analog lines on the screen. My first lcd was a 22 in Samsung, and they need to do some serious work on their audio speakers!

Anyway I found this 32 in Vizio quite outstanding for the money. The setup was easy and the picture quality is beautiful. Sound is excellent with the internal speakers and te Vizio "tru sound" far excels the Samsung. Although it isn't promoted as such, the tru sound acts as a sound level filter too, so you aren't blasted with the louder commercial signals.

I've had this tv for a month now and recommend it for anyone wanting an entry level lcd with quality.

Bought this for our bedroom. Paid $279.00 delivered and got the 3 year Square Trade Warranty for another $34.00 after discounts. Price at BJ's $349.00 plus tax & Walmart was about the same. I am deaf in one ear and have an aid in the other and the speakers in the TV rival my Boze system !! Amazing product for the money !!! Could not be happier !!!VIZIO E320VA 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black

4.0 out of 5 stars Vizio E320VL 32" TV, February 21, 2011

This review is from: VIZIO E320VL 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV (Electronics)
Great TV for the price. Picture quality is better than expected. The only thing this is lacking is full 1080p support (it has 1080i) but *very* little of what is broadcast right now even uses 1080p. The room I put this is in not all that big (about 15' x 12') and it is just the right size for where I have it at. Great color and contrast, automatically adjusts picture modes, and enough ports to connect my Xbox, PS3, and cable settop box with room for 2 other devices. This is a good buy for anyone on a bit of a budget.

So far not a bad TV. It's pretty much what I expected. The one thing they don't show you in the stores is that just because it's wider doesn't mean regular tv will fill the screen. Something I didn't look into closely enough. you can change the settings so the picture does fill the screen but you either cut off the tops of heads or it looks short and stretched. normal view is like watching it on a regular crt tv.
Other than that it's a great tv and we are enjoying the clarity and crisp colors that you don't get from the crt's.
