Very disappointed with this tv
on July 26, 2014
Update 7/31/14... Vizio is replacing the TV, that's good news. If you have the same model (E390i-B1) contact Vizio immediately, the stand is apparently defective. As soon as I called the tech support rep said they were sending me a new unit. Tech support said they would have replaced my unit because of the defective picture, so I actually had two separate issues. At this point I an waiting for the new unit, which is a slightly different but equal quality. I'm not happy about having to wait 6-10 days, but I thought for sure I had to buy another new TV out of pocket after only four months. I am impressed with the customer service. I'm leaving review at one star just so others will read it so they know what to do should they have the same model or a similar issue.
Original Review...Very disappointed with this tv... First occasionally the unit would freeze, nothing worked except unplug and power up a few minutes later. Now 4 months old, it froze completely. No storm, no power outage or surge just randomly froze. The display said "No master channel list." I did the usual unplug and power up a few minutes later. Power cycles, then comes on but the picture is literally upside side. I'm not joking completely upside down, I will be contacting tech support, but it's just unacceptable that a new tv has this issue. Do yourself a favor and buy something else even if it costs a few extra bucks!
