I was using this to play planet side 2. And I littirally felt I was In world war 2. The manual is very helpful and isn't a peice of (insert word here) like most manuals. It also came with wall mounts which made me very happy.

And If you are worried about cord length 2 of the speakers have REALLY long cords and the other ones also have long cords
Music sounds amazing too
Its got a thing you can plug into phones iPods computers
and its got a thing that plugs into DVD players
If you can't figure out how to set it from 2.1 to 5.1 when plugged into computers make sure its on AUX and PRO
It has a usb slot and a SD/MMC card slot
One of the coolest features is that with the remote you can actually adjust EACH SPEAKERS VOLUME SEPARATELY :D
The remote takes triple AAA battery's and those are pretty cheap to get
The max volume is 60
The Max db of the sub-woofer is 10 minimum -10
There is a ton of other features to I haven't figured out yet
No distortion from what I can tell
You can set a sleep timer from 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120 minutes
There is a Equalizer button that I haven't really figured out yet :P
And with the remote you change the brightness of the display (the lights on the front)

I think this review sums it up pretty well
Very good for gaming and music lover I would recomend this to anyone becuase of the price and the quality can't go wrong.

This set disappointed simply because it's not one I'd recommend for your home theater system. Why? The cords for each speaker are completely short, and even in my petite living space, they wouldn't be able to reach for a truly surround experience.

The sound quality is decent, but the subwoofer lacks in punch.
So, for $50, that's about what you'd expect from this set.
If you want the true 5.1, you'll need to spend more on an a/v receiver and speakers.

I'd recommend it more for your desktop computer system if you like to stream movies there or play PC games.

First off, I have worked in the professional sound business for about 10 years, as a DJ or live sound tech. And my main area of expertise in sound, is the quality of sound of a sound system. I have only had the system for a week and have not fully pushed it to its limits yet. This surround sound system would have been a 5 star if first, product description had more details in it. Second (this one is just my own preference), how the speakers connect to the sub-woofer/main-unit through RCA cables. The cables are not removable from the speakers themselves, which require an adapter if you need longer cables. And RCA cables are a lot more expensive then regular speaker wire, which in my opinion has the same sound quality. 2 of the speakers have about 10 foot of cable, and the other 3 have about 5 foot of cable. Third, the EQ on the system only works for the SD and USB inputs.

The system has really good sound quality for watching tv/movies, listening to music, and playing video games. I love how the sounds from Black Ops 2 on PS 3 sound on this system, and has made game play even better for me. The ability to switch between 2.1 mode and 5.1 mode great for early mornings or late nights when everyone else is sleeping. Which 2.1 has only the sub-woofer and 2 of the speakers playing. The individual speaker volume control is really great, and works great for getting the perfect balance of sound in the room the system is in. This feature does not completely mute an individual speaker, just turns them up or down.

Overall, for $76 when I purchased mine, I am very happy with the sound system. And I would recommend this system to anyone on a tight budget.

Wow i was definitely not expecting such a premium product when i spent under 80 bucks. I was a bit suspicious because of the price, but i was pleasantly surprised.

Very easy to set up, and has all the inputs you would need (USB, AUX, DVD, SD Card). The remote's range isn't great, but i wasn't even expecting it to have a remote!

Sound quality is great and is loud enough to be a great system in a small to medium sized room. (Don't go in expecting Bose type volume and you won't be disappointed).

The Company (VM Audio) actually has a Youtube channel that showcases and gives details on their products.

The only con (and it's easily fixable) is that the cords for 3 of the speakers are kinda short and aren't long enough to really mount on the wall. So i bought some extension cables on amazon for like 3.50 a pop, super cheap and good quality. Shouldn't be a problem. Highly recommend this system!

I took a chance on this systems and I am glad I did! I'm not saying everyone will find at amazing since our idea of "good sound" varies widely. We cannot exceed 31 on the volume otherwise our apt vibrates too much and the volume can go all the way to 60. We used it for my son's first birthday and we at volume 54 the sound was loud enough for a party of 40+ people. I have no issues with the length of the speaker since I was not going to spread them out too much anyways because we have a baby in the house. For the price, its awesome!

The only con is that I went to VM website to register the product but their registration link is not working. I wonder if anyone has been able to register their product with VM?
