Doesn't work at all; product is not recognized even after I installed Sony software. I thought that would fix the problem. Now I have to find a suitable USB cord for my Sony CyberShot.

Very low quality. Snap-together clamshell body around the release buttons came apart on 4th use, I thought about gluing it together except for the other problem: The little catch hooks that hold it in are supposed to let go upon squeezing the release buttons together. It does not completely let go and has to be wiggled/twisted/yanked out of the camera-I'm afraid with any regular use this will ruin the camera connector port...not worth it, I'll spend 20 bucks on the Sony cable rather than wreck my camera.

I bought this cable to have an extra one to keep at work so I didn't have to carry my original Sony cable back & forth.
I found the plug to be very tight as I plugged it into my camera. It worked fine. Now it is the ONLY cable that works fine.
I found my Sony cable no longer works because this one reamed out (stretched out) the female receptacle in my camera.
This did not make me happy. The contacts in my camera are now so stretched out that the Sony cable fits LOOSE & does not make good contact.
I'm forced to use one cable now. This one.

The price of the cords were very affordable but my suggestion is save your money and listen to the reviews, which is would I should of done in the first place. The cords do not work with the camera. I was really disappointed and now have to make my way to a Sony store and get help there.

USB cable for my camera was mailed quickly after payment and works excellently! I would by from this business again!

i just got it yesterday went to plug it in and take the plug out and it broke i guess u get what u pay for

THIS ITEM SEEMED TO BE IN PERFECT CONDITION. I INSERTED IT INTO THE CAMARA AND IT WORKED. EVERYTHING WAS GOING FINE UNTIL, I WENT TO DISCONNECT IT. THE ENTIRE CONNECTOR CAME APART, LEAVING INSERTED IN THE CAMARA , THE ACTUAL CONNECTOR WITHOUT THE CORD OR COVER. NO FORCE WAS APPLYED TO IT. IT IS VERY BAD. I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER SOUCE THROUGH AMAZON FOR A REPLACEMENT. CHEAP IT IS, VERY CHEAP. BAD.

* Sorry I am not able to write a review because I have never even opened the package. It was delivered quickly and arrived in excellent condition, however, my son showed me how to just insert the camera memory card into my computer and the cable was not needed. R.S.

This cable became unusable after one use because the plastic component of the side that connects to the camera fell out. This product seems appealing because of the price but this piece of equipment is poorly constructed.

This cable is exactly what I needed for my older camera to be able to preview pics on a computer. And it was dirt cheep!!!!
