The Volkl Power Bridge V1 is the latest update to the legendary Volkl V1. Utilizing DNX technology, coupled with the added stability of Powerbridge gives the Power Bridge V1 improved power and stability versus previous V1's. In combination with the proven Sensor Handle System, there's no racquet in the world that absorbs harmful vibrations much better than the Power Bridge V1. Variable 25-22-28mm beam width, 102 square inch head size, 4 regions of Big Grommets, in combination with DNX, offers an outstanding combination of performance, power and comfort.

One of the most important factors that determine the power of a tennis racket is the stability and stiffness of the frame. Because the more stable the frame is, the more kinetic energy can be returned to the ball. Using the next generation of DNX technology, Powerbridge is an innovative construction which considerably increases the stability of the critical throat/yoke area of the frame. This makes the entire racket more powerful and dynamic. This effect is achieved on the one hand by integrating the high-strength DNX material and on the other hand by increasing the specific material density in the yoke.

Bouoght this for my husband's birthday. He is a 4.0 level player and hasn't had a new racket in over a dozen years. Having played with it for two weeks now, he likes it very much, so I just ordered him a second as his spare. It is much lighter than his old racket, yet has power and gives him nice control over the ball on his various types of shots. He is very pleased. Also the service from the Tennis Company could not have been better, or faster.
