Best Low Glycemic Protein Bar on the Market.....,
By Marcus T. Brody (Tampa Bay, FL) - See all my reviews 1) Coating is so sweet that it can make your teeth ache. 2) Tons of chemicals and artificial ingredients that are non-foods. 3) Has old school sweeteners like sugar, corn syrup, or high fructose corn syrup in them, which is AWFUL for the body. 4) Poor texture. Either too crunchy, too chewy, or "too" something else. Zero Impact Bars.... 1) Coating is perfect. Subtle sweetness, but won't cause tooth problems or cavities. 2) Very natural bar with a lot of good real food ingredients. Only "chemicals" are a few preservatives. 3) Sweetened with Brown Rice Syrup (which some say is the best sweetener out there), and erythritol (which is a safe, non-toxic, natural sweetener). 4) Texture is great. Semi-soft, great on the palate. They're a little dry, so you do need 12-16 oz of water per bar, but other than that, perfect. I love these bars for so many reasons. Low sugar, low glycemic, high quality protein, natural ingredients, and the Pumpkin Supreme Bar tastes unbelievable! I used to be big on "raw food" bars, since they're the "healthiest", but after discovering 3 new cavities (which I KNOW are from those bars), I now recommend these over the raw food bars. Great, great product, and unfortunately, the Vitamin Shoppe stopped carrying them, so now I buy them online.

Best Bar on the Market,
By Other reviewers have mentioned this, but it's worth noting that they are a little dry. Just be sure to have some water with the bar. You will be full after finishing one of the bars, oftentimes it might take a little while to eat the whole thing. I usually will have one for lunch and snack on it throughout the afternoon hours to maintain fullness and keep me from grabbing nearby snacks. Anyway, they worked for me and they seem to have worked for Ryan Reynolds, too!

My Protein Bar of Choice,
By Kort "Art, Music, Book & Movie Enthusiast" (Boca Raton, FL, United States) - See all my reviews (TOP 500 REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME) I am currently taking part in a "Biggest Loser" competition at my workplace. I've started exercising more and modified my diet, making these Pumpkin Bars an integral part of it. We've just completed the third week and I'm currently in the lead with just over 12 pounds lost, almost 6% of my total body weight. I wouldn't say I am (or was) overweight, but I could stand to drop some belly and love handle fat. Obviously all of this loss is not due to the Zero Impact bars, but I'm certain they are helping. For anyone looking to lose weight or gain lean muscle, you have nothing to lose by incorporating these into your diet. Buy a box and the per-bar breakdown is just over two dollars. That's really not bad if you think of what you would pay for a healthy meal. Of all the Protein Bars on the market (Clif, Pure Protein, PowerBar, Met-Rx) this is the only one I would give a solid five star rating.

Best overall protein bar on the market,
By Witek Radomski "freakmod" (Prince George, BC Canada) - See all my reviews I love the VPX Pumpkin bar because it has low GI carbs, an outstanding nutritional profile, and tastes just good enough to be delicious. The other flavours I tried (PB&J and Chocolate Peanut Butter) were a bit too dry and nasty, but the Pumpkin tastes just like a denser version of pumpkin pie that you'd eat for dessert at Thanksgiving. There's no strange chemical aftertaste as with many other protein bars. It's a little dry, but with some tea or water to wash it down, that's not an issue. The ~440 calories in the bar also make it quite cost effective. I think I'll be sticking to this for a reliable meal replacement bar. (The only other bar I would buy is the "Fit Stars Iso Bar", which is a bit higher on the GI scale but tastes fantastic with good ingredients)

WOW! I have had almost every kind of protein bar on the market, and on a recomendation by a guy at a local judo dojo, I abandoned my Supreme Protein bars in favor of these ZERO IMPACT bars...Worst mistake ever! these are the worst tasting and most "chalky" things I have ever had. I tried three different bars just to make sure I didn't have a bad bar. I have a very strong tolerance in the taste department, but just for affirmation I had two workout buddies try them (they both spit them out!). Needless to say I threw the rest of the box away. Absolutely horrible taste/texture.

Dad loves these & keeps in his pocket for quick energy throughout day. He only eats several bites at a time. Entire bar is 400 cal. but LOW sugar so no uptick in glucose.

Excellent Bar, Good Price,

I have tried many different brands of bars. This is one of the best but both taste and nutrition. Many are nothing more than simple sugars but this brand has plenty of wholesome ingredients that digests slowly making it actually healthy for you. It does help to have plenty of water because it can get a bit dry.
