This toy is exactly as it says a sit to stand learning walker. It has lots of interactive features and my daughter loves it. The front "face" comes off so she can sit on the floor with it and play....when she is feeling adventurous she pushes it around. It does not have any resistance feature on the wheels (like some other walkers) so she is still learning to push it and control it without falling but I would recommend it and buy it again over other walkers (I have 2 others that don't interest her as much)

This toy was instrumental in helping my son to walk. He pushed this toy all over the house day and night. The toys on it light up and make noises. There's an educational mode and a music mode. My son's favorite part is the phone. He pretends like he's talking to daddy. This toy is very sturdy. My son has pulled himself up on it numerous times and it's never tipped over. I also noticed that it doesn't seem to go too fast. Other walkers I've seen take off and leave the baby to fall on his face. This one is perfect. I recommend it to everyone. My son was walking on his own after 1 month of using this.

This is a nice walker that doesn't go too fast or tip easily. There are several activities with two modes of play that my 10 month old seems to enjoy. Good price as well.

When I first got this walker for my little one he was 9 months old and just started pulling him self up and walking around the crib. I thought these were signs that he is ready to start walking so I got him this walker. Unfortunately his moves were still very uncoordinated and he kept falling with the walker. At that point the walker was still very unsafe for him so I put it away. I took it out when he was 11 months and to my surprise he did great, no more falling at all. He was able to use it immediately so I believe no walker will work when the baby is not ready yet. I'm giving this walker 3 stars for two reasons. First I think the name is a bit misleading as I don't think this is a good product to learn how to stand up so "Sit-to-Stand Learning" is a bit misleading. I do however think that if a baby learned how to stand up properly this becomes a great walker. The second reason is that the play panel freezes all the time and is very annoying, so we don't even turn it on anymore and use it only as a walker.

Too Much Going On!,

There is too much going on for our daughter to learn anything, and the constant noise drives us crazy! You hit one button and first it will say "square", then perhaps a color, then it has music. You can't just get it to repeat "square." When not touched for a few seconds, it then repeats its welcome song. I wanted this toy because it had lots of different sounds, but I didn't realize how they would play out in reality. My daughter (10 months) likes one of the buttons, but ignores the others.

You remember that scene from "Airplane" where everyone lines up to slap the hysterical woman? That's how I felt about the Vtech sit-to-stand learning farm walker. I wanted to grab it, shake it, and yell "shut up shut up! No one is playing with you right now so stop blipping and blooping like a maniac!" In a desperate ploy for attention, this thing loves to blare music and light up, even when baby long ago moved on to something else. It's MTV for today's generation of AD&D babies. The learning farm has two volume settings: super loud and ultra, mega loud. Not only is it loud, it's also repetitive. Although it has about 11 songs, it prefers to loop one or two. The hard plastic wheels slide more than roll, on most surfaces. It also features a quaint late-90s-era telephone handset-- probably the only one your baby will ever see outside of a museum in his lifetime. I guess all this overstimulation would be fine, if someone could prove to me that baby will become a genius as a result. But I'm a little skeptical that he's learning much. As another reviewer noted, the buttons do not respond consistently. If you push one of the 5 colored buttons along the bottom, the response rotates through several possible answers. It all just seems like an arbitrary jumble of lights and sounds. As a walker, baby sometimes scoots it along, mostly on his knees. He generally seems to get better practice from cruising along other objects around the house. Just remember that babies have been learning to walk for eons. I'm pretty sure caveman babies didn't have vtech learning farm walkers, and I'm sure they turned out fine.

I do daycare, and this has been a favorite since we received it. I'm usually very pleased with Vtech toys in general, but this one hits it out of the park. I have one child who sits independently, and is just learning hand eye coordination. All he has to do is graze it with a touch, and it lights up, and plays music. He loves it. Then I have a 21 mo. old and we are starting to work on colors and such. The toy has a switch, and it changes it to a learning toy, so when things are touched it says colors and what not. Plus the fact that it's a walker, which is perfect for the almost 12 mo. old. Don't even get me started on the "peek a boo game" they can play, that gets an erruption of giggles!

The wheels roll way too fast both on hard surfaces AND on carpet. There is no slowing device like on other learn to walk toys, so my son has fallen several times just trying to keep up with how fast the toy is going.

It looked Very Good, My Daughter loved it at first sight, she started to play with it, but after less than 3 weeks, its started to reset every 2 seconds, and then started to freeze, After less more than a month it stopped working at all, all the music and the electric parts became useless, but she still walks with it.

The play panel worked for the first ten minutes and now freezes every time we turn it on. It's also not very educational as it does not repeat the vocals when the buttons are pressed. Instead either it will make a random comment or music will play. And if it is not touched within a few seconds it will start playing music. There's no chance for kids to learn cause and effect. The only part my daughter likes is to take the phone off the hook.
