This isn't a bad game, it's just dull. Our 4 year-old avoids it but our 2 year-old loves it. You can't loose in any of the activities, so it is a good learning game, but it is easily the one that will be outgrown first. If you buy the V-Smile system for a very young child (2-3) you may want this one. Four year-olds and beyond will be incredibly bored by it. Go for Winnie-the-Pooh or Lion King instead and you'll get more bang for your buck.

Great Game,

This is a great starter game. My 3 1/2 year old started with the introductory game that came with the vsmile. That game seemed a little too hard for someone just getting used to the controls. We went to the Care Bears one and it seemed a little easier and better as an introductory. Now, she enjoys both games. I would definitely vote the Care Bears cartridge as good!

I purchase this item for a 4 year old when I got her the V Smile system. This game wasn't as fun as the original game that came with the system. It was very hard to make out the graphics on the screen and it wasn't fun. But little girls will enjoy it if they love Care Bears. I wouldn't recommend getting this game because its not as interactive as the original game that came with the system.

I bought the game for my 3 1/2 year old grand daughter. She has never played a vidio game before. She was able to use the joy stick without difficulty. The graphics were great. I am very happy with the fun she is having with it.

Not one of Vsmiles best games,

My daughter enjoys this game because she loves care bears but there is not really much to this game. It is great for a young child (one who is just learning their alphabet). Even the more difficult levels offer little change or challenge in play. Although we are still big fans of the Vsmile toy itself. I would much rather see my daughter playing this game opposed to a game boy or x box which offer little to no educational value.

I agree with the other parents,

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter. It was too easy, and very boring. She wont even play it. There's 20.00 down the drain. Don't buy it. I am working on getting her some of the other games. I hope they will be better at teaching her.

Great Game,
This review is from: Vtech - V.Smile - Care Bears (Toy)
I bought this game for my 4 and 5 year old daughters, both have experience using computer games, and joystick games. I think it is a wonderful game, they both enjoy playing it. I really havent noticed them being bored with it, they wont play it for hours, but I really dont want them using the video game system for hours anyway. It is simple, and was really easy for them to figure out, but I think that is part of the reason they enjoy the game. It isnt too hard for them to play like some of the other vsmile games. As far as learning goes, it is mostly color, shape, letter and number recognition, so for an older child (6 and up) it would probably be a little boring. but for ages 3-5, I think it is great.

TOO EASY!!,

When we bought my daughter the v-smile game system we got her this game to go along with it. She never hardly plays it because it is so simple. Chasing color balloons and stars, catching a falling letter. Chasing shapes that appear in the exact order you are supposed to put them in. If your child is having problems learning how to use a joy stick this game may help them master that, but it is not challenging for children at all.

My 4 year old loves this,

My four year old daughter loves this game. It is a little easy, but she gets frustrated at some of the other games that my 6 year old plays with, so this one gives her a chance to actually "win". I am sure she would get bored with it if it were her only game, but we have had it for several months and it is one she always goes back to.

Care for your wallet instead of this game!,

My 3 year old son absolutely adores the Alphabet Park Adventure game that came with the V-Smile. Seeing his excitement, I ran to two different stores to look for more games. The first was sold out, but the second had Care Bears. As soon as I got home and started the game for him, I immediately understood why the game was the only one available. My son looked at me like I was crazy, then ran off and played with his other toys. There is no "adventure" in the learning adventure portion of the game. The tasks are extremely easy and very repetative. There are no goals to reach (like how many power rings you can get, how many life hearts you can maintain) and absolutely no challenge to the mind or imagination. I am going to beg the store I purchased it at to give me some sort of refund, even if it is 1/2 the price. Please please please, save your $20.00 and buy Lion King or Winnie the Poo for your loving, intelligent 3-5 year olds.
