better than the last one,
By A Customer
This review is from: VTech t2451 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Answering System and Caller ID (Office Product)
after dealing with an old at&t 900 mhz cordless(with a loose battery connection)i thought any other cordless would be a dream. i recently bought this phone based on the functions and appearance but quickly found flaws. the ringer is not loud enough. i have to carry the phone into the next room with me if i want to hear the ring and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn the ringer volume up. also, if my stereo, located right next to the phone, is a little too loud i can hear it coming through on the handset. the sound overall is a bit tinny. perhaps it's only because i was so frustrated with my last cordless that i can rate this a 3. it is easy to set up and operate. the answering machine messages are clear and i can adjust the volume to listen. it's easy to program and operate but the sound quality leaves something to be desired.

Great Phone For Dorm,

This review is from: VTech t2451 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Answering System and Caller ID (Office Product)
This inexpensive phone has 2 voicemail boxes and an answering machine. A good phone for a college dorm. If it gets lost,
stolen, or broken it can be easily replaced. The reception and battery have been fine so far.

Answering machine sucks,
By
This review is from: VTech t2451 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Answering System and Caller ID (Office Product)
This has one of the worst answering machine voice qualities I've heard for awhile. It's weird that after all these years of digital answering machines, most companies still can't produce a decent quality one. Also, the phone silver lining scratches easily, and the directory interface is just as bad as other vtechs. NOT recommended for anything other than looks.
